Are you thinking about getting your first tattoo or maybe adding to artwork you already have?
If you're planning to get your first tattoo it is extremely important that you choose the right tattoo design.
My first tattoo was a dragon design but at first I wasn't sure what style of dragon I wanted. I started looking online until I found my perfect dragon design. All I had to do then was download it and give it to my tattoo artist. Not only can you find great tattoo designs online but it can also give you some great tattoo ideas for a custom design of your own.
The reaper you can see above in the heading was created this way. As well as being a skeleton and skull freak I also love playing pool. I wanted a tattoo design that included both. I found the reaper design and thought that would look really cool hanging on to an eight ball and cue daring anyone brave enough to challenge him to a game for your soul. I think it looks great and I now wear it with pride.
In the Tattoo Designs pages of my site you will find many free tattoo ideas and links to other websites with heaps of great tatts to give you inspiration. If you like any of the designs in the site and want a larger pic to take to your artist let me know and I'll email you the bigger version. Just let me know which one you want. Email:

Learn the Art of Tattooing.
Are you thinking about becoming a tattoo artist? The popularity of tattoos has never been so high and if you have what it takes you can be part of a very satisfying and financially rewarding industry.
As with any occupation or trade you need tools of trade and reference material to point you in the right direction. There is more to tattooing than just being a great artist. Whoever it is that gives you the opportunity of starting an apprenticeship is taking on the responsibility of training and teaching you all there is to know. Unfortunately, no one person can know everything you want to learn. I know from experience that no boss likes a lazy apprentice who does not take time to learn some things on there own. If you don't show a willingness to learn you will not earn their respct and they will not go out of there way to help you.
It's all up to you. You can just plod along or fast track your way to success. To help you out I have put together a selection of quality reference books and DVD sets developed by world class tattoo artists. Whether you've started your apprenticeship already or about to start these tools of trade will give you great information in all aspects of tattooing.
